Just thoughts

Hey everyone..🙋

Happy Sunday..🍭

I am  back to being Me… Nee..😈ha ha ha loads of  thoughts coming up but poor me can’t rant them all..😕

After getting a few lovely comments on the post The UP Saga!! I was asked to write something involving the term  DOWN..⬇

So after racking my brains and searching here and there I came across this, so thought will share it with you all, not a Sunday Gyaan cause inner peace is still navigating it’s way back..😉

Hope it doesn’t bore you guys..I feel like a Wren and Martin text book right now..So pardon me for that..

So here we go..🌀

The word DOWN can be used in a number of ways

-as a preposition (followed by a noun), as in ‘She was walking DOWN the street’

-as an adverb, ‘She laydown and fell asleep’

-after the verb ‘to be’, as in ‘Shares were sharply down at the end of trading today’

– as an adjective, as in ‘He’s been feeling a bit down recently.’

-As a preposition, Down can be used in informal British English..

‘He’s down the pub with his mates’

-As an adverb, ‘going towards the south’,as in ‘Thousands of Scottish fans will be travelling down to London for the big match’.

-Down can also be used to mean ‘losing a game’, ‘At half-time, we were two goals down’

– (of a computer) ‘not working’,

‘I’m afraid our entire computer network is down at the moment.’

-you can also use down to refer to the number of tasks in a series that have been completed,  ‘That’s another exam over. Two down and four to go.’

– If you are down for something, you have been chosen or are expected to do it, as in ‘I’m down for babysitting on Friday evening.’

-If something is down to somebody, they are responsible for dealing with it or making decisions about it, ‘It’s down to the prime minister to find out what went wrong.’

-If you are down on someone, you dislike them or disapprove of them,’Why is the teacher always down on me? I’ve got low marks again.’

Wasn’t it tooo Downey an affair???

My head was spinning at the end of this..😢😓😫

So without wasting much time being Down here’s wishing all a happy week ahead!!Cause the countDOWN to the festive season in India has already begun..💝

We have NAVRATRIS arriving soon..followed by Dusshera /Vijaydashami and then the festival of lights..DIWALI/DEEPAVALI..so looking forward to them with glee…😇

Until next time, signing off with a gyaan ..Don’t let things get you Down.😎

Just thoughts

Hey everyone🙋

Here I am lying in the hospital bed..admitted for observation 😥 ( for few health issues) at 8 in the morning with constant thoughts rushing through..😣
I am oscillating again at the Hate fake mode..Hate Fake #1

Spending a sleepless night thinking about how selfish and rude some people are..Now tell me about it!!!

Nothing new I know..deeds of cruelness, ungratefulness and all the “negative nesses” exist everywhere but when the same things keep repeating you kind of get immune to it!! But why then does it hurt soo much that it blows your sleep away??

When you know that a particular person isn’t just worth it then why do their actions or words hurt you to such an extent that you forget yourself and dwell on the cruel things they say?!😖

Wish the world (atleast I) wasn’t  surrounded by such meanos but that will just remain a wish I guess😔
I should find my own peace of mind and stay away from such trouble causing morons but that isn’t possible too..cause they come disguised in the form of family and friends..😲😢

So I should tune into my inner self and seek calm and peace and learn to IGNORE..😶
Ughh sorry for the early Monday morning rants but just couldn’t help venting out the frustration..🙈
Here’s hoping that karma  knocks them soooo bad in the face one day that they realise how it feels..but such people are thick skinned buffaloes that nothing will affect them I guess

(Note: I am a very peace loving person 😜 and I usually don’t wish bad for others but I have learnt that enough is enough and we live in the world of tit for tat so ranting away here makes me feel goody goody goooo😉😉😂😂)

Here’s hoping atleast the rest of you have a calm and peaceful, fun filled middy september ahead..💞💞

Hey everyone..🙋

Mid September!!Already half the month is through..This year seems to have gone by real fast..but still seemed long enough..

I’m sure you will enjoy the following post..I came across this and couldn’t resist sharing it..😃

One word in the English language that could be a noun, verb, adj, adv, prep is *UP*.⬆

This two-letter word in English has more meanings than any other two-letter word, and that word is *’UP’*.⬆

It’s easy to understand *UP*, meaning toward the sky or at the top of the list, but when we awaken in the morning, why do we wake *UP*?

At a meeting, why does a topic come *UP*?

Why do we speak *UP*, and why are the officers *UP* for election (if there is a tie, it is a toss *UP*) and why is it *UP* to the secretary to write *UP* a report?

We call *UP*our friends, brighten *UP* a room, polish *UP* the silver, warm *UP* the leftovers and clean *UP* the kitchen..

We lock *UP* the house and fix *UP* the old car.

At other times, this little word has real special meaning…

People stir *UP* trouble, line UP for tickets, work *UP* an appetite, and think *UP* excuses..😬

To be dressed is one thing but to be dressed *UP* is special..😈

And this *UP* is confusing😓: A drain must be opened *UP* because it is blocked *UP*.

We open *UP* a store in the morning but we close it *UP* at night..

We seem to be pretty mixed *UP* about *UP*!😟

To be knowledgeable about the proper uses of *UP*, look *UP* the word *UP* in the dictionary.😎😜

In a desk-sized dictionary, it takes *UP* almost 1/4 of the page and can add *UP* to about thirty definitions.

If you are *UP* to it, you might try building *UP* a list of the many ways *UP* is used.

It will take *UP* a lot of your time, but if you don’t give *UP*, you may wind *UP* with ( *UP* to) a hundred or more.😉

When it threatens to rain, we say it is clouding *UP*.

When the sun comes out, we say it is clearing *UP*.

When it rains, it soaks *UP* the earth..

When it does not rain for awhile, things dry *UP*.

One could go on and on, but I’ll wrap it *UP*, for now…… my time is *UP*!

So, did this whole thing, crack you *UP*?

So until next time I will 🙊🙊🙊 *UP*, while you have an awesome week ahead💞💞💞

It’s time to go Gallivanting again…!!
