Hello everyone..๐
No gyaans today only sharing thoughts and views and likes..๐
Starting off with a little about my favourite TV shows..๐บ
A lot about me these days in the posts I know..๐
๐ฉ๐ฉCurrently I am glued toย Master Chef Australia..๐
In India the real telecasting on Star World is done way toooo late..After the actual season is mid way or actually over too..
So I am always behind the actual schedule but I love it..
Some times the curious me can’t resist and I Google who was out in which episode..
After viewingย Master chef Australia ( I soooo very love the judges, all 3 as in love love love them )
Last weekend Bangalore had the privilege of hosting the international world on a food plate festival..
The judges in traditional South Indian attire..โ
So the 3 judges were all over the city and news..missed a chance of seeing them live in action..
I feel the judges of MC Australia are more contestantย friendly and motivate them than the judges of USA..
I actually learnt soo many new terminologies and techniques after being glued to these shows..
๐
I always wonder where do these contestantsย comeย up with skills of such beautiful presentations, Unlike me who just dumps the dishes onto a plate and I amย done..๐
Fewย months back after MC Aus season 7, came MC Asia, (I liked Chef Susur Lee’s ponytail and the way he looks at the contestants after every bite..oh soo scaryyy๐จ
I loved this contestant by name HA..from vietnam…she looked cool and cooked wonderfully..
Then I was hooked onto MC USA..
I feel the judges seemed cooler this time..knowing Gordon Ramsay for what he is in the kitchen!!! I shudder to be a participant there..
( He seems a very nice guy though, have seen his shows, travels in India..but in theย kitchen, man he gets Evil!!!๐๐ข)
Oh and chef Graham seems to have lost a lot of weight since the last seasons..he looks wonderful..
I really want to participate in MC.Asia but apart from Indian cooking I know nothing of Indonesian,
Malaysian, Thai, Chinese, vietnamese eeekssssss…the list is endless..( duh huh…theย better halfย is rolling his eyesย saying you learn bengali cooking that’s more than enuf..chaaaaย I grumble awayย as all my South Indian cooking talent is going for a wasteeeee)โน
Right now since MC Aus season 8 is on..I am glued and my poor better half too is compelled to watch it with me..
My season 8’sย favourites are Matt, Nicollette and Harry
So is anyone sailing in the same boat ??Any favourite MC contestant??๐
Until next time let’s stay glued to the marvellous idiot box..๐บ๐
Great that you are an arm chair foodie too! I wish I could watch but work does not permit sadly. Gordan Ramsay, Jamie Oliver, Martha’s kitchen, Iron Chef, Kids Master Chef๐๐๐i watch when I can. Enjoy!!

Neethu yeah same here I love these kind off master chef shows. I also learnt a lot of terminologies and techniques from these shows. I watched two seasons of master chef junior USA oh my kids of that age making so many lovely dishes and the way they put them in plate .โฆwooooooow. ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ป. I really cannot think of participating as I am not that fast enough. Neethu I liked the rolling eyes and your husband telling you to learn the Bengali cuisine first. Am laughing at it and can relate. ๐. I am not really following master chef Australia, it’s coming in a time when am busy so really haven’t watched it completely. But few episodes I managed to watch. I like Nicolette – she’s so cute.
