Hello everyone..🙋
Just felt like sharing some Weekend Gyaan.. ( Sanskrit word for knowledge)
My mom used to tell me the following story and I always followed and try to still follow it especially when I find myself in situations of helplessness and where I had to muster up courage to carry on things on my own make my own decisions, with just a silent prayer to God to help me accomplish it and guide me.
I am sure most of my friends here have heard it too, but just thought il share it with you all.
( Pardon my lingo at the end, just changed it to have some fun)
There was this person, a villager 👳 who was caught up in floods.
He climbed onto the roof of his house 🏡 and kept praying to God to rescue him.🙏
One Boat 🚤 arrived filled with people they had rescued . The boatman 🚣 told the villager to climb onto the boat.
The villager refused and told the boatman “No no, I won’t come, God is there, He will save me!! ”
The water level kept rising. 🌊
Another rescue boat came by, the villager again refused said the same thing “No no, God will rescue me”
The water level rose drastically, another boat came by and our God loving/fearing villager repeated the same dialogue. 🙇
Finally the water level rose beyond rescue and he drowned in it. 😣
Thereafter, when he went to heaven he met God and told Him..
“O Almighty, you are omnipotent and omnipresent, I kept waiting for you to come and rescue me, but you did not come at all, what’s the use of having faith in you, when you are not present to help your children.”
God cooly replied ( let’s make it the modern lingo of mine)
😇 “Dude I did come, but you did not recognize me, I did try to protect and save you, I sent help not once nor twice but thrice in the form of rescue boats but you were hell bent on me coming in person and helping you which isn’t possible so it’s your loss baby! ”
So.. moral of the story??!! 👀
God helps those who help themselves??!!👉 👳 👈 The saying makes sense now!!
God won’t come in person and HELP!! NOPE!! He is no Iron man or Batman, that he will come and eliminate the trouble makers in our lives.🙅
He will create occasions and situations for us to use and benefit ourselves, which most of the time we fail to see and learn..so thats my story..
I am sure all of us have been through similar situations where a decision made by us, taking a chance has turned out positive and fruitful.
Maybe that’s God’s way of indirectly helping us.
Do you agree my friends??
Have a great weekend.. 🙂

One of my exes he told me to write God’s name above my exams so I would pass.. I believed him.. I failed 😀 I love these posts and I like the modern spin. Often when it’s accompanied by those typical religious depictions of deities it becomes a heavy read. This light and so full of joy. I’ll be definitely telling my child is. \
When it’s born.
Sometime way in the future.
